Job Description of Chartered Accountant (CA)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should have expertise in financial management, auditing, tax regulations, and risk assessment. This role is crucial in ensuring the company’s financial stability, regulatory compliance, and long-term growth. The Chartered Accountant will work closely with senior management to provide insights, drive cost efficiency, and improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
- Ensure GST compliance, income tax filings, corporate taxation, and regulatory adherence.
- Conduct financial audits, risk analysis, and internal control assessments.
- Develop and manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Implement tax-saving strategies, financial risk assessment, and investment planning.
- Assist in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, and financial restructuring.
- Oversee cost control measures and optimize financial processes for profitability.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Stay updated with RBI, SEBI, and tax laws to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- CA qualification from ICAI (Additional certifications like CFA, CMA, CPA are a plus).
- 2-8 years of experience in financial accounting, audit, and tax advisory.
- Expertise in direct & indirect taxes, GST compliance, and financial laws.
- Proficiency in Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
