Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to handle financial transactions, record-keeping, and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, general ledger management, accounts payable & receivable, and financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting the financial health of the business.

The Bookkeeper will work closely with the finance team to track income and expenses, reconcile bank statements, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in accounting software, financial data management, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, invoices, and payments.
• Process accounts payable & receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and financial discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Assist in tax filings, GST compliance, and financial audits.
• Ensure proper classification of expenses and adherence to accounting standards.
• Work with external auditors and accountants for financial reporting and compliance.
• Stay updated with Indian tax laws, financial regulations, and best practices in bookkeeping.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
