Job Description of HRIS (Human Resource Information System) Analyst

Job Summary:
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role ensures the accuracy, security, and efficiency of HR data while supporting HR operations through system enhancements, reporting, and troubleshooting. The HRIS Analyst collaborates with HR, IT, and business teams to improve workflows, implement new features, and maintain compliance with data privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- HRIS Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and administration of the HRIS platform.
- Data Integrity & Security: Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance of employee data within the system.
- System Optimization: Identify and implement system improvements, upgrades, and integrations to enhance efficiency.
- User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to HR staff and employees on HRIS functionalities.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making in HR operations.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure HR data management complies with labor laws, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations.
- Collaboration: Work with IT, payroll, and HR teams to align HRIS functionalities with business needs.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues, working with vendors and IT teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in HRIS administration or HR technology roles.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
