Job Description of Hotel Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel’s day-to-day operations. This role involves managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, optimizing profitability, and maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor daily business performance, occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback.
- Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff to ensure consistent performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive reputation.
- Oversee budgets, cost controls, and financial reports; work closely with accounting to manage hotel expenses and revenues.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to drive bookings, promotions, and brand awareness.
- Build partnerships with local vendors and service providers to enhance guest offerings.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain the quality and integrity of hotel services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in hotel operations or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and PMS software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds).
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and guest relations effectively.
- Flexible, resourceful, and calm under pressure.
