Job Description of Cloud Architect & Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect & Consultant to design, implement, and guide cloud transformation strategies for businesses. In this role, you will analyze business needs, recommend the best cloud solutions, and ensure seamless migration and optimization. You will work closely with stakeholders to create scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate with IT teams to assess current infrastructure and define cloud migration strategies.
- Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization best practices.
- Lead cloud transformation initiatives, including modernization and digital adoption.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for automated deployments.
- Provide expert consulting on cloud strategy, DevOps, and disaster recovery.
- Optimize cloud workloads for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Mentor teams on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience – 7+ years in cloud architecture, consulting, or solution design.
- Certifications – AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications (Architect-level preferred).
- Technical Skills – Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, security, and automation.
- Programming & Scripting – Proficiency in Python, Java, or PowerShell.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Security & Governance – Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Soft Skills – Excellent problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills.
