Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves developing sales strategies, expanding the company’s market presence, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The BDM collaborates with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop solutions that align with customer needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and industry events.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and market expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
  • Market Analysis: Research industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development initiatives with company objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide reports on business development activities.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills. Proficiency in CRM software is preferred.

The BDM plays a key role in expanding business opportunities and driving long-term growth.
